Aspiring rapper NLE Choppa is receiving some backlash for his efforts to help people with their health and wellness. The 18-year-old, whose real name is Bryson Potts, has been sharing videos and posts about his journey to better health on social media, and some people are not here for it.

“The hate I’m getting for posting my health and wellness journey is unreal,” Choppa tweeted on Tuesday (May 28). “But I’m not gonna stop helping people.” He continued, “I know there are a lot of people out there that need help, and if me sharing my story can help just one person then it’s worth it.”

Choppa has been open about his struggle with mental health and has said that he’s been working on his physical health as well. He’s lost over 30 pounds since he started his journey and says he feels better than ever. “I’m not gonna let the haters stop me from helping people,” he tweeted. “I’m doing this for myself and for everyone else that needs help.”

NLE Choppa has responded to the hate he’s been receiving for trying to help people with their health and wellness. The rapper has been extremely vocal about the importance of self-care and taking care of one’s mental and physical health, but some people have accused him of being “self-centred” and “narcissistic.”

In a recent interview, Choppa addressed these criticisms and explained why he feels it’s important to help others with their health and wellness. “I think a lot of people are too focused on themselves,” he said. “They’re not really worried about other people. So, when I see somebody that’s not in the best state mentally or physically, I feel like it’s my duty to help that person out.” He continued, “I’m not saying I’m perfect, I’m not saying I know everything, but I feel like it’s important for me to at least try to help somebody. And if they don’t want my help, then that’s on them.”

Choppa also spoke about the importance of maintaining a positive mind-set, regardless of what others may think or say. “You can’t let anybody else control your happiness,” he said. “That’s something you gotta do on your own. You can’t let the negativity of the world bring you down.” It’s clear that Choppa is passionate about helping others with their health and wellness, and he isn’t going to let haters stop him from doing what he feels is right.
